Halo: The Last Pelican Out

October 20, 2552, Sabaku Orbital Defense Platform over Earth. The air was dry and the atmosphere happy for every one was happy for several weeks prior Master Chief blew up HALO a weapon that will kill all sentient life in the universe, today he was scheduled back. Everyone was celebrating, today was also the day new Recruits came to all the stations and assigned to the ships to be stationed at. On the Sabaku station 300 Marine Privates came to be station at the Frigate Eternal Sonata. In the garage is where the new recruits were supposed to meet up for it was huge and empty cause they haven’t loaded quite yet, they were waiting for the new recruits to leave.

“Alright you maggots line up, come on hustle hustle on the double. I am Sergeant Major William Bosch I am your commanding officer the man behind me is Captain John Winter-Gloss he is my Superior when we are on this vessel you will treat him with respect. I will transfer him to you and let him explain things to you here.” Sergeant Bosch said.

“Thank you Sergeant, Alright men I am glad to have a fine bunch of soldiers on my vessel as you all know we are a frigate ship we are the ones to defend stations or colonies that are in dire need we carry warthogs, scorpion tanks, mongoose’s, hornets, pelicans, albatross, and long-sword interceptors. In a few minutes your Sergeant will show you all the place’s on the ship so you will know where they are and he may even show you our special cargo, but we have to move out cause I don’t want to keep these fine men from loading this place with vehicles. So I’m turning you back to your Sergeant.” The Captain said as he was leaving.

“You all heard what the Captain said we need to be out of here so his men can do their jobs. Move out and follow me. Our first stop is the barracks where you maggots will be staying.” said the Sergeant as they entered the room.

“This here is the barracks where you will stay when you sleep obviously, so go ahead and drop all your stuff next to the bunks you want to sleep in then follow me. Our next stop is the kitchen” the recruits all went to the bunks and placed their stuff down and followed him to the kitchen.

“This is where you will be eating when it’s open, ok next is the hangar.” they followed him to the hangar.

“This is the place where when battle arises on ground you will hop in a pelican and be deployed to the ground. We keep the other vehicles here as well, anyways we have 2 more stops before you all can disperse. Next is the armory, just follow me and we can get this over with.” They then arrived at the armory.

“The armory is where you all will suit up and get your weapons your standard issue pistol, assault rifle and battle riffle. And your armor when we issue them in a few hours but this is where you all will keep them. Any questions so far?”

“Sir ummmm….I do sir.” said one of the privates.

“Go ahead son don’t be shy I’m not a mean guy.”

“Ummm what are those massive crates in the corner?” said the nervous Private.

“Oh those well thats the next part of our tour which you all will like greatly. Now follow me I have a surprise for you all.” The Sergeant said as he walked to the next destination. As they entered the massive room where several tubes were station all empty except four.

“This is the Cryo-chamber where on long tedious voyages people are frozen till they are needed. Which brings me to my next subject, the four chambers you all seem to be starring at is four Spartans, the one all the way to the right is Spartan Alicia 010 her rank is Petty officer second class, she is excellent at hacking and close range, she also with her sister are a great team they watch each others back they are basically in separable. She carries a combat knife, shotgun, standard issue pistol, battle rifle, and her own hacking system built in to her suit. The next one over is Spartan Kaitlyn-111 her rank is Petty officer second class, she’s Alicia’s sister excellent at sniping and scouting out possible areas of interest, when Kaitlyn is sniping Alicia stays close to watch her back, she carries her own personal high powered sniper rifle,standard issue pistol, and two personal SMG’s. Next up is Spartan-069 he is a Petty officer first class, he specializes in explosives and shotguns, he has a beam spray gun on his wrist with a single thought he can fire it he uses it as a last resort like if someone has a Gravity hammer or Energy sword., standard issue Pistol and assault rifle. Now we come to the leader he is a Senior Chief Petty Officer, he is Spartan Brad-108 he is extremely good at close to long range, hacking and security, customizing and personalizing. He carries a customized MA5C ICWS or Individual Combat Weapon System Assault Rifle with a knife fitted bayonet. It’s ammo is .50 Caliber machine gun rounds. He also carries a customized SRS99D-S2 AM Sniper Rifle with a automatic function and larger ammo capacity of 34 rounds per magazine, it’s ammo is AP-FS-DS or Armor-Piercing, Fin-Stabilized, Discarding Sabot. The next items he carries are 2 miniature sawed off shotguns capacity of them are to cartridges per gun, he reloads them from slots from his wrists as he opens them to caulk out the used shells, two magnums, a blade in his right arm, and a flame thrower in his left. He is the strongest of any Spartan I once witnessed him take out a hunter with his bare hands, he punched the hunters plasma canon in half, then he climbed on top of it and ripped it’s arm blade out, then just pounded it’s face it. He also destroyed Wraiths with just a few punches never fired his gun at a them. That is what makes up the crimson team, these Spartans were part of the Spartan II program but never trained with the others because these Spartans were being train for harder jobs than the other Spartans like infiltrating, they are like the Spartans version of special ops. They were extremely hidden from everyone except Dr. Halsey of course she looked over the process.” Said the Sergeant as several of the new recruits had looks of shock and and enjoyment on their faces.

“Oh by the way the answer to your question earlier about the metal crates, those are their new armors that they will be thawed out in about half an hour and change suits. Thats the whole tour you maggots are DISMISSED!!!!!” The Sergeant bellowed. As the crowd dispersed the Sergeant stayed behind and just stared at the Spartans, meanwhile in the command center Captain Gloss was conversing with his ships Smart A.I.

“How does everything look Cassandra?” Said the Captain.

“Everything is almost ready just a few more loads and everything will be set, the Ships diagnostics check out and are ready. Say don’t you think it’s time to awaken them so they can receive their Mark VI armor? Because the armor is here and fully functional. Should I give the order?”

“Yes give them a good wake up feeling. Give the order.”

In the control room of the Cryo-chamber Terrence saw the order to wake them and as he proceeded to do so with shock in his face. The Cryo doors opened slowly but surely, and the Spartans woke up at a slow pace.

“You all may feel a slight disorientation your body may be a little stiff but that will go away quickly. When you all feel ready just climb on out.” Said the officer.

As the four Spartans got their bearings they climbed out the officers directed them so the officer could check their suits diagnostics.

“Your suits check out fine, well we unfroze you four to give you the new suit upgrades. The new suits you all will be getting are the new Mjolnir Mark VI, this new armor has improved since the Mark V like your shields recharge a lot faster plus they are stronger, Plus your suit has it’s own supply of Biofoam in it so it will automatically heal you when you’ve been injured. Another advancement is that the armor automatically raises the increases level the pressure level of it’s hydrostatic gel as you fall this suit also has a lock down mode when you sustain further trauma like if you fell from a cliff this is to prevent any further injury. Now then we have specialized suits for you all Alicia 010 the Mark VI variant that has been sent to you is the CQC variant or rather Close Quarters Combat, so step on in to the room and our technicians will assist you in changing your armor.
